How custody schedules survive the school year

The most common reason a custody order comes back to court is that it was drafted around the parents’ week rather than the child’s. School starts, activities land on exchange days, and the order becomes a source of argument.

We draft two calendars: term time and holidays, with exchanges at school where possible so neither parent’s home is the handover point.

If your order already exists and does not fit, a modification is usually simpler than living with it.
